Well, I am a little late posting all about the BEST day of mine n Dev's lives, and need to actually rewind a couple days before.. So I will be starting with June 19! :)
June 19 we had our normal, weekly doctor appointment. I was 40 weeks the Sunday before, so I was REALLY hoping for some progress, or any kind of good news!! We got to the appointment, and I was told I was 80% effaced, and dilated to a 2 1/2... Booooo... Absolutely NO change from the week before. I had warned Dev earlier that day that if there was NO change, there was a huge chance I was gonna loose it and cry the rest of the night! LOL!! Well, after my doctor told us there was no change, he asked how we would like to have a baby that Saturday! He was on call, and would like to induce us! UM HECK YES!!! No way I was gonna say no to that! I was OVER being pregnant at this point, and wanted nothing more than to meet our precious baby boy!! :):) So we went and met with the nurse, and set up our induction for Saturday, June 23 at 7:30 AM! YAY!!!
The next day we both went to work.. That was a LONG day.. LOL! Dev called me about half way through and said "ummmm, so how bout if we both start our leave tomorrow?? I can't stand being at work, and can't focus at all anymore".. LOL!! I agreed 100%! Dev was able to take a full 2 weeks off with us, and I get 10 (woowoo!!). So we both got our leave approved, and that night did extreme cleaning! I cleaned the carpets while Dev cleaned the floors on his hands and knees (I hurt way too much to be down like that), the ceiling fans, and the heater vents.. The next day we grocery shopped, cleaned out both our cars, and washed them, did LOTS of yardwork, and after a LONG day grabbed a pizza and relaxed a bit.. Friday we got up and went to breakfast, kinda a last date for the 2 of us for a while.. :) We got home and cleaned the entire house TOP to BOTTOM, and finished all the laundry. That night Dev had a softball game, then my awesome fam took us to dinner! :) It was a really nice day spent majority with just me n Dev! :) That night we got home about 11, and TRIED our hardest to sleep! LOL!
We were up at 5 AM on Saturday, showered and got ready.. I ate some plain toast and juice (YAY.. lol) then we sat outside watching our first baby, Tankers playing in the yard! I was instructed to call the hospital at 6:30 to see IF I was still supposed to come up and check in at 7:30.. Well, the lady I spoke to told me to call back at 7:30 to see if I needed to be there at 8. I told her we were about 35 minutes away, so I would like to call earlier.. She told me to call at 7:15.. LOL. Safe to say we were both on edge, and SUPER anxious!! I called back, and was told to be there at 8:30! My sister slept over the night before so she could take care of Tank (safe to say they are the best of friends.. lol), she got up and talked to us for a bit, Dev loaded up the car and we were off!! We were both on pins and needles pretty much the entire drive to the hospital, so it was a pretty quiet ride.. It all seemed SO real, and yet, I don't think it was FULLY setting in YET. We got to the hospital a few minutes early, so we slowly unloaded our stuff and walked in to the hospital. We got inside, checked in and got put in our delivery room! :) Then we waited!!!
At about 9 (but what seemed like ages) the nurse came in to check my status.. STILL no change.. SIGH... LOL. Thats okay, couldn't let it get me too down, I knew what was coming SOON!! She came back in to give me my IV (this NEVER goes well..). She had to insert it right below my thumb, on the side of my wrist.. I have no big veins in my hands, or arms. Everyone always misses, collapses my vein, and it usually takes multiple attempts to get it in.. Once that was in, my doctor came in! Dev and I were a little quiet, as we were both still nervous about what was to come.. We were VERY excited, and very confident, but at the same time nervous for the unknown! Once my doctor came in the entire mood in the room changed. We were both SO excited, and so sure of everything! At about 10:30 my doctor attempted to break my water.. He told me I didn't have very much fluid, so they attached a monitor to the top of Brax's head in hopes that his wiggling would break the water a little more.. They then started the pitocin.. That stuff was INTENSE!! I was having NO contractions (that I could feel), then immediately went to having contractions about 5-7 minutes apart that were strong.. I was able to breathe through them and catch my breath in between before the next contraction hit... At this point the anesthesiologist came in to explain the epidural procedure, and told me (more or less) not to be a hero.. To be comfortable for the process, and get the meds as soon as I wanted! There is a rumor the epidural slows down labor, and he explained it in fact does.. By about 20-45 minutes.. So if NOT being in pain was worth that extra time, get it as soon as I felt I needed.. That was a relief! About an hour later, my contractions were about 1 1/2 minutes apart, and HARD.. I was really struggling with them.. And poor Dev was struggling watching me go through them. The nurse came in and told me I was a 3, and about 90% effaced.. I was slightly disapointed.. I thought with how bad my contractions were I would be much further along.. I asked for the epidural to make the next few hours a little more pleasant! :)
I was more scared for the epidural than anything.. I was having anxiety about it WEEKS before my delivery.. LOL.. I am a HUGE wuss with needles (could be thanks to my bad veins, and how many times I've been poked, and missed.. Haha). The anesthesiologist came back in and BOOM, it was done so quick!! Within 10 minutes, I couldn't lift my right leg, and could barely lift my left.. LOL. I was having more and more contractions, and they were getting bigger and bigger, but this mama couldn't feel a THING and that was GREAT!!! :) About 2 hours after having the epidural, I had a reaction.. Some of the fluid had traveled up my spine, and caused my right eye to sag, and my pupils to be dilated HUGE! Luckily, there was no problem, it wasn't serious and wore off before Brax arrived!!
Dev called and updated my fam after the epidural was complete, and within a half hour my mom and sisters were up at the hospital! :) At this point, they checked me again, and I was at a 5 1/2, and ALMOST complete! YAY PROGRESS!!!! They told me it would still be a few hours, this was at about 4. Another hour passed, and my Dad was now up at the hospital as well!
At this time, the nurses noticed each time I had a contraction Brax's heart rate would drop WAY down.. They kept coming in and changing my position in the bed hoping this would help.. They noticed when I would lay on my left side, his heart rate would drop even more.. They weren't sure if he was on his cord, if part of his cord had dried out, or what? At this point they assigned a nurse to only watch his heart, and then take his print out to my doctor to decide what to do.. They also hooked me up to oxygen, and told me to breathe really deep and slow to ensure Brax was getting all the oxygen he needed.. I was really freaking out at this point.. They told me it wasn't dropping bad enough that they weren't really worried, so I shouldn't worry.. The nurse came back in and said he was okay, my doctor wasn't too concerned, and she checked me again. WELL, after a short hour, I was dilated to a 9, and was COMPLETE!!! She said we would probably begin pushing in a half hour! HOLY COW!!!! Now we were excited!!! :)
At this point, they switched nurses, and the new nurse came in and told me I was complete! And we were going to start pushing to see if we could get Brax moving down! I was really nervous, but REALLY ready! :) I pushed and pushed and pushed, but felt like I was getting nowhere since I couldn't feel anything that was going on.. Dev and my mom each held a leg, while my Dad hid in a corner (lol) and one sister recorded, and the other took pictures. My awesome sisters also helped push up my back and shoulders. :) It was a team effort! :) I pushed with just the nurse for about 45 minutes, and she said it was time for my doctor to come in! YAY!!! It was really time!!! :)
My doctor came in, and said "so, are we ready to have a baby?? are you guys ready to REALLY be parents??", LOL! Dev and I both laughed and said we were MORE than ready!! Dev said it will be nice to have our baby here in his nursery, so we can stop looking at his empty room! LOL! My doctor watched me push with my next contraction and said I was doing GREAT! :) And it was on! I was pushing my little heart out with every contraction! My doctor told me each time I pushed they could see the top of Brax's head, but he wasn't getting past my pelvic bone.. He asked if he could cut me a bit to help him (sorry if thats TMI.. lol..) and I agreed... UMM ouch, hello 3 degree episiotomy... I pushed and pushed and that still wasn't enough. My doctor then asked if he could attach the vacuum to Brax's head to kind of glide him out. I agreed! I wanted him to be here!! I was worried to death about his heart, and was getting exhausted!! It felt like I had been pushing for days!! He told me on the next round of pushes, Brax should be out!! I was SO excited!! I gathered ALL my strength and pushed as hard as I possibly could!!! 2 more pushes, and Brax was here!!! 45 minutes of pushing, and he arrived at 8:05 PM! We all instantly started bawling! It was the most amazing, special feeling of my entire life! I felt like my heart was going to explode with happiness!
Brax came out with his cord wrapped around his neck, and my doctor instantly removed it and Dev cut the cord! :) Brax was screaming, but instantly stopped as soon as he was laid on my chest, and heard my voice.. He locked his eyes to mine, and just stared.. The nurses said they had never seen anything like that.. And continued to make him cry! LOL! He instantly recognized his mama, and it was love at first sight! I just sat there comforting, loving and snuggling him! After a while, they took Brax over to measure him, weigh him, give him his shots, etc.. Brax was not super happy about this, but again, he instantly stopped crying as soon as he saw Dev. They locked eyes and just started at each other.. It was so special! :)
Brax weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long, and has a FULL head of hair! His hair came out CURLY and pretty much automatically went into a faux hawk just like his daddy as soon as it dried!! LOL! :) He is absolutely PERFECT, and owns both mine and Dev's hearts.. As well as our entire families! He is the best baby EVER, and we couldn't love him more! I need to make another post ALL about him, and how our 2 weeks being home have been, as well as post pictures!!! :)
Also, I just have to say how LUCKY I am to have such an amazing support system in my Husband.. I am so incredibly lucky to get to call him ALL MINE for the rest of forever.. He was so great through the whole delivery.. He kept me calm, supported me 110%, and fed me ice and slushees all day! LOL!! He is truly the most amazing husband EVER!!! And he is just as amazing at being a Daddy! Brax absolutely ADORES him!! He is so wonderful, and helps me SO much!!! Me n Brax are lucky to have him in our lives!!!

38, 39 and 40 weeks??? LOL.
Safe to say
I have been slacking TONS lately with the blog! LOL!! We’re still here, and
still pregnant! We will hit 40 weeks on Sunday! And baby boy is perfectly
content right where he is at!! I don’t think he has any intentions of coming
out any time soon!! Haha. We had our weekly appointment Wednesday, and I was
told I am dilated to a 2.5, and 80% effaced! My doctor stripped my membranes
(again, he did the week before as well) in hopes of getting things moving, but
nothing more has happened. We have our next appointment on Tuesday, and my
doctor told us IF we make it to that appointment (which he hopes we don’t, and
I hope we don’t, but I KNOW we will.. lol) we will set me up to be induced next
Saturday the 23 while he is on call! So the end is near! I can definitely see a light at the
end of the tunnel! Haha. This mama is definitely ready to meet her baby boy!!
So is his Daddy, and the rest of our family and friends! Not to mention, this
mama is also ready to have a break from work! Hahaha.. It will be so nice

37 weeks!! FULL TERM!! :)
Well, I am a little behind this week!!! Hopefully next week I can make my post on Monday!!! We are down to (hopefully no more than) 2-3 weekly bumpdate posts! I wrote this post on Tuesday, but never got around to adding it till now! So I'm not gonna make any adjustments.. LOL!
Well this
past week has been a crazy one!!! SO much has happened! Last Monday night I dreamt all night that I was in
labor, and I kept getting woken up with some really intense contraction pains..
I figured it was nothing and went back to sleep.. Well, all day Tuesday I had
some really strong cramping pains.. Like menstrual cramping.. I called and
spoke to the nurse at my doctors office, and she told me initially to go to
L&D to get checked out, then changed her mind and told me to come in and
see the RN, and she will then decide if I need to go to L&D or what! So me
n the hubs headed up to the hospital, and after being checked, we were told
Brax is head down, and engaged, I am dilated to a 1, and 60% effased! I was told
the cramping I was experiencing was contractions, and I was in “early active
labor”. Well that was a shock, and surprise!! LOL! We definitely weren’t
expecting that at this point!! So we headed home, did laundry and got mine n
Brax’s bags packed and ready to go “just in case”! Well Thursday rolls around,
and we made more progress that morning (I will spare the disgusting details..
hahaha). Well after that I had been leaking some fluid all day, so once AGAIN I
called the nurse, who told me I for sure needed to go to L&D to be
monitored this time.. So off to the hospital we went AGAIN! We were there about
5 hours, and both me n Brax were monitored. I was told I was still dilated to a
1, and 60% effased, however, I was having contractions every 2-3 minutes, that
were lasting about 30 seconds. I was also told my urine tested positive for
small traces of bacteria, so they put me on antibiotics to treat me for a UTI
“just in case”! So me n the hubs got
home that night about 11:30-12, and headed to bed.. POOR hubs had to get up and
go to work Friday, but lucky me, I got to sleep in! LOL! I got up and ALL I
wanted to do was clean like a mad woman! So that’s exactly what I did! HA! I
cleaned EVERY carpet in our house, ran errands, and once Hubs got home we did
some yard work, and grocery shopped.. I felt really good about tying up loose
ends! Saturday we had our final shower, at our house, hosted my by awesome
family!! Safe to say our little boy was spoiled absolutely ROTTEN!!! Everyone
sure is excited for our little booboo to be here!! It was a wonderful day spent
with so many wonderful people, celebrating the soon to be arrival of our little
one! J Today we have our FIRST (and possibly last???) weekly
doctor appointment, and I CAN NOT wait! I can’t wait to hear if we have made
more progress, and where we stand!! Baby boy is FULL TERM, and we have
EVERYTHING complete and ready to go for his arrival! So he is welcome to come
any time he would like!
This week
Brax should be weighing in at around 7 pounds, and 21 inches long! More or
less! We will see today as we have our final ultrasound! This week vernix, and lanugo continue to shed from
Brax’s skin, and his lungs continue to mature! All systems are almost a go for
baby boy!!! We can’t believe we are SO close to meeting our adorable baby
boy!!! I swear this pregnancy has gone by SO fast!!!
How far
along? 37 weeks (2 days)
Due Date: I think we will get a better idea about this today at our
appointment!
Total
weight gain/loss: ALL GAIN…
Can’t WAIT to begin the loss!! LOL!
Maternity
clothes: Yep!!! Working in a few things that
are non-maternity, but more or less we are all in maternity for the home
stretch!
Sleep: Sleep has been better! Besides needing to pee at LEAST every 3
hours.. Haha. I’ve been getting some pretty good contractions through the night
as well that wake me up.. But other than that sleeping good!
Best moment
this week: Our
AMAZING baby shower Saturday!! J Its safe
to say our little boy is spoiled ROTTEN!!! We got every single thing we

36 weeks (1 day)- WATERMELON!
This week Brax is the size
of a WATERMELON!!! WOW!! That explains why I CAN NOT get comfy at all these
days!! Try laying around with a giant watermelon tucked under your shirt! HA!
We are exactly ONE MONTH from D-day today!!! HOLY COW!!!! We are soooooooo
excited!!!! The hubs and I were watching the news this morning as we got ready,
and as I realized it’s the 21st (one of our 3 due dates, the one our
Dr is convinced is the MOST accurate), I told him we are one month away, and
his face was priceless! LOL!! I am really starting to feel the crunch, I feel
like we still have so much to do (even though I know in reality we don’t, we
have TONS done already). I guess it’s the whole nesting/anxiety thing I kept
hearing about! LOL!! After Brax’s shower this week we should be 100% complete
and ready to go! I am planning on washing his tiny little clothes, blankets,
bedding, etc and getting it all ready to go next Monday, I also want to get our
hospital bags packed! WOW!!
This week, and the last few weeks, Brax will be gaining around an OUNCE per DAY!! WOW!! Little chubbers!!! Haha. Brax is also simulating breathing by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, sucking on his thumb, blinking and pivoting from side to side! All practice for his BIG day! :) I can't believe we are getting SO close to having our precious baby boy here!!! :) Its all seeming SO much more real at this point!!! Within WEEKS now, not months, we will have him here!! We can not wait!!! :)
How far
along? 36 weeks (1 day)
Due Date: June 17, 21, or 22!!! Next Tuesday we have our LAST ultrasound
to see how big Brax is measuring, and I have my first “check” to see if I have
started progressing at all yet!! Hopefully we will get a better idea for the
MOST accurate due date, even though our Dr is convinced right now it’s the 21st!
LOL!
Total
weight gain/loss: ALL GAIN…
And apparently, I look like I am carrying twins… Gee, thanks A LOT checker at
the grocery store… Such an annoying man. I told my hubs I think EVERYONE needs
to take “how to talk to a pregnant woman 101” as a REQUIRED course in high
school… LOL.. I don’t think anyone that has NEVER been in this situation before
themselves knows what to say that isn’t super offensive… BTW- I am only
carrying ONE big boy, and from what I hear, I am all belly.. He has nowhere to
go but straight out..
Maternity
clothes: Yep!!! Working in a few things that
are non-maternity, but more or less we are all in maternity for the home stretch!
Sleep: Oh gosh not so good so far this week… First of all, we did a
SUPER yard renovation Saturday ALL DAY.. Like 9 hours.. So this mama was SORE..
I could barely walk, and not to mention, I got a really bad sunburn on my
shoulders, and back.. NO GOOD.. So I have been really uncomfortable for the
past 2 nights.
Best moment
this week: Hearing
Brax’s heartbeat at our appointment, hearing that we are RIGHT ON TRACK, and
that after next Tuesdays appointment, we are down to weekly visits!! Oh, also
pre-registering today for our hospital stay! AND, getting down to our FINAL
month!! Seriously, I do not feel like I have been pregnant this long! It has
gone by so quick!!! Another GREAT moment, getting our carseat checked and
inspected to make sure its installed correctly and we are good to go!! GOOD JOB
hubs!! He did it 100% correct! And last but NOT least, getting our maternity pictures taken!! YAY!! I cannot wait to see them!!!
Movement: SOOOOO very much!!! He loves to stick his little bum out!! LOL!
I can feel every single move he makes these days, and I love it!
Food
cravings: Anything cold! Water, slurpees, ice
cream, popcicles, etc…
Food
aversions: Not really
anything!! FINALLY! J
Gender: One beautiful, bouncing baby
BOY!
Labor
Signs: None!!! Hopefully next Tuesday we
hear that I have started to dilate, and thin out… I can dream right?!?!?!
Belly
Button in or out? The top is
OUT, the bottom is flat.. Haha.. Not too sure the whole thing is gonna pop! And
that’s a-okay!
What I
miss: Feeling normal for sure!!!
What I am
looking forward to: My last
baby shower this Saturday!!! YAY!! I cannot wait!!
Stretch
marks: Unfortunately…
Wedding
ring on/off: ON! For
now… Its getting a little tight.. I hope I can keep it on the whole time! As
long as my swelling stays in my legs and feet!!!
Milestones:
ONE.MONTH.LEFT!!!!!
**** Oh, and I FINALLY can get on my blog again here at work (shhhhh), but I forgot my camera cord at home.. LOL.. There will a picture post tomorrow! :)

35 weeks- 1 day!
A little late... AGAIN... I swear, not being able to post at work on Monday mornings is becoming a pain! LOL!!
This week Brax is beginning his preparations to make his GRAND entrance! J His growth is slowing way down so he can save all his energy needed for delivery! I’m not the only one who has A LOT of work to do that day (or days… lol). Brax’s bones are all still super soft to help for an easier delivery. His skull is also not fused together so he has an easier exit. By now most of Brax’s systems are ready, and in place! Almost all except his digestive system that is, since it hasn’t had any REAL practice, or been operational. This will mature within a few weeks of him being here, and outside the womb! His immune system is even strong enough at this point to protect him from infections outside the womb. I LOVE hearing how baby boy is maturing and growing in there! Getting all ready for his grand entrance!! J We CANNOT wait!!! Everyone is so excited to meet Brax!!! 2 more weeks till you are FULL TERM Brax, so stay put in there till then, then you are MORE than welcome to make your big appearance! J But take your time!!! We know you will come when you are ready!
This past week was a GOOD ONE! J It was my first Mothers Day! J Yep, I celebrated even though Brax isn’t quite here yet.. Hey, I’m still going through the motions! ;) LOL.. My cute hubby got me EXACTY what I wanted, new jammies for my hospital stay, and recovery time at home! Haha. I am so simple, and easy to please! J We had a wonderful day celebrating with both our families ALL day! Safe to say, we were both EXHAUSTED by the time we got home! We can’t wait for next year to celebrate with Brax! J Next up, FATHERS DAY!!! One of our due dates is June 17, which just happens to be Dev’s favorite number, AND Fathers Day! So we are crossing our fingers that’s the day Brax decides to come! J We have our next, and final baby shower on May 26! And we are SO excited! My cute sisters are throwing this for us, and they have SO many plans and secrets in store! LOL.. I can’t wait to see what they have come up with! They are throwing the shower at our house so everyone can see the nursery! J We have LOTS of outdoor work to get done by then, so this weekend is gonna be BUSY!! Saturday is going to be filled with yardwork, men, chainsaws, dirt, etc.. LOL.. Then I get some girly, relax time while my sister gets my nails and toes ready for our maternity shoot Sunday! J YAY!! Its going to be a fun, busy week!! I can’t wait!! All this busy work makes me exhausted, but it makes the weeks FLY by, and helps us get one more step closer to our baby boy finally being here! J
How far along? 35 weeks (1 day)- HOLY COW!!! 34 days left!!!
Due Date: June 17, 21, or 22!!! I am going with June 17 since its sooner! J My Dr is really good at nailing down your due date though, so we will see what he says as the time gets closer! J
Total weight gain/loss: Oy, its ALL gain at this point.. Can’t wait to start losing though! Haha.
Maternity clothes: Yep! All bottoms, and still able to mix in a few non maternity tops and dresses!
Sleep: Well, apparently I was snoring last night louder than EVER! LOL.. So pretty good!!! Even though I felt like I was sleeping really light, and couldn’t get comfortable at all!
Best moment this week: My FIRST Mothers Day! J Yep, even though Brax isn’t here yet, I still got to celebrate! J It was a wonderful day! And I can’t wait to celebrate next year with my baby boy here!
Movement: TONS!!! I can feel every little movement he makes!! J
Food cravings: Umm anything cold!!!
Food aversions: Not really anything at this point! J WOO!
Gender: ALL boy!!!
Labor Signs: NONE!!!! And it had better stay that way at least 2 more weeks! Then, feel free to come whenever you want to baby boy! Haha.
Belly Button in or out? Umm the top is out, bottom is still in but is SUPER shallow! LOL..
What I miss: Umm non swollen feet/cankles FOR SURE… LOL..
What I am looking forward to: Our doctor appointment Wednesday, getting our carseat inspected to be sure it was correctly installed Thursday, total yard renovation Saturday, and our maternity pictures Sunday! YAY!
Stretch marks: Unfortunately…
Wedding ring on/off: ON! Unfortunately, I dunno how much longer that’s gonna last as my fingers are super swollen by the end of the day.. Might have to switch it up to only my band.. Makes me sad, so I’m trying to put that off.. LOL.
Mood: Excited! Anxious! Giddy!!! J
Milestones: Hitting the big 35/35! 35 weeks, with 35 days to go!! WOOHOO!! Baby boy is gonna be here before we know it!
Wednesday, May 9, 2012
34 weeks (1 day)- LARGE cantaloupe!
34 weeks (1 day)- Large Cantaloupe!
This week Brax is the size of a LARGE cantaloupe! About 19-22 inches long, and 5.5 pounds! J Most of Brax’s growth over the next 5-6 weeks will be in weight! He should gain anywhere from 1-several pounds! Fat is accumulating rapidly at this point in my pregnancy, in the middle of my pregnancy Brax had 2% body fat, and now that percent has soared closer to about 15%, and will be a whopping 40% at term!! Can’t wait to squish and squeeze his chubby cheekys, legs, belly and arms!! J Brax’s brain continues to grow too! He is getting smarter each and every day!!! J
Last week we had a Dr appt, which came just in time! We wanted to check in on the information we had got from Fetal Studio a couple days before! LOL.. Should we be prepping for a little one arriving in 4 weeks?? Or a BIG baby?!?! LOL.. We gave my Dr the information/stats from the tech at Fetal Studio, and he said he appreciated it, BUT he wasn’t very concerned.. He said the techs are REALLY good at getting fun pictures, and determining the sex, but when it came to making decisions on due dates/size/etc he would trust his own techs a little more! ;) Just as I figured.. He asked me how big I was, and how big Dev was at birth.. Then reassured me that I am not “genetically engineered” to carry or deliver a really big baby! Could it still be possible? SURE.. But is it likely? No.. That was a relief.. LOL.. He also let us know he wouldn’t be moving up our due date! So PHEW all around! Haha. He offered to do another ultrasound between 36-37 weeks so we can check on Brax’s size so I can prep myself “just in case” he is measuring big.. Haha.. So at our appointment in 3 more weeks we will get another ultrasound! YAY!! I was going to ask for one anyway, and I didn’t even need to! My Dr is THE.BEST!! J We have an appointment next week, then one more 2 weeks after that, then we are down to WEEKLY visits till baby boy makes his grand entrance!! J We sure CAN NOT wait for him to be here!!! I can’t believe we are down to 6 more weeks!! HOLY COW!!!! He is going to be here so so soon!! Everyone keeps asking if we are nervous, or stressed.. If we are ready, or still have lots to do.. And honestly? We are SO beyond ready.. Am I nervous for him to be here? Not in the slightest.. I have a wonderful husband and partner to experience this entire thing with! He is already the BEST husband I could ever hope for, and he is going to be just as amazing at his new role of DADDY! J I am nervous for the delivery?? HECK YES… LOL.. I know once I am there, I will be okay. Its just hard right now not knowing what exactly to expect.. Are we ready?? Psh.. We’ve been ready for a while now.. LOL.. His nursery is ALL complete except for a few small finishing touches.. All that’s missing is baby!!! J Everyone that comes in his nursery says it looks like a page out of a babies R us catalogue.. Ha!! J
We are so excited, elated, giddy, happy and anxious for baby boy to be here!!! We know the next 6 weeks (give or take) are gonna go by EXTREMELY fast!! And we can’t wait!!! J
How far along? 34 weeks (1 day)
Due Date: I have decided he is just gonna come when he wants to, but HOPEFULLY he waits till at least June! LOL!! We are gonna get another ultrasound at our 37 week appt (3 weeks to go!!) to see how big baby boy is measuring so we know if we are expecting a BIG boy!! My Dr won’t move up our due date, he says he has measured between June 16, and 22 since day 1. So we are sticking with that.. He might just be BIG even though I am not “genetically engineered” to make and carry a big boy! Haha..
Total weight gain/loss: Oy, its ALL gain at this point.. Can’t wait to start losing though! Haha.
Maternity clothes: Yep! All bottoms, and still able to mix in a few non maternity tops and dresses!
Sleep: Hubs says I am sleeping REALLY good right now, he can tell cuz I’ve taken up the new habit of SNORING.. LOL.. I have never snored in my life, but all the sudden I am snoring, and its not small or quiet either.. Haha..
Best moment this week: NESTING, NESTING, and MORE NESTING.. WOOHOO!! This mama is feeling GOOD! LOL.. I told Dev all we need to do is wash/organize all Brax’s clothes and blankets, wash the floorboards, ceiling fans, blinds and heater vents and we are DONE!!! Its exciting, and feels so good to get so much done!! Ahhh.. The things that you find exciting when you are old, married and expecting a baby.. LOL!
Movement: SO MUCH!!! Its my favorite thing to sit and watch my belly moving, rolling and bouncing.. J
Food cravings: Not really any cravings at this point!! Just anything COLD!! With the weather warming up I am all about ice cream, popsicles, water, juice, and kool-aid.. LOL..
Food aversions: Nada!!! Doin pretty good!! Not everything SOUNDS really good, but nothing is making me gag or sick anymore.. Haha.
Gender: ALL boy!!!
Labor Signs: Not really anything, just a few (of what I think are BH contractions). Baby boy better stay put for AT LEAST 3 more weeks! LOL..
Belly Button in or out? Umm the top is out, bottom is still in but is SUPER shallow! LOL..
What I miss: No aches and pains.. No cankles or swollen feet.. Being able to bend over, and move without pains.. Hahaha..
What I am looking forward to: Getting my hair done this weekend, and my FIRST Mothers Day! J YAY!!
Stretch marks: Yep… Ugh..
Wedding ring on/off: ON!! Even though my fingers are starting to swell a little bit too.. So not too sure how much longer I will be able to wear both rings.. Might just have to wear my wedding band soon!
Mood: Excited! Anxious! Giddy!!! J
Milestones: Brax being head down, and in position! J This is a relief, but a TOTAL pain!! LOL..
** I need to upload and post pictures later!!!! Blogger won't work at my work anymore.. :( So hopefully I can get this taken care of later from home! Haha..
