You + Me= Three

Safe to say Summer in Utah has come to an end!!! With all the wedding planning, house renovating, etc I don't really feel like Dev and I got much of a summer, BUT that was okay!! Fall is my absolute FAVORITE season!! I LOVE the cooler air, the changing leaves, the excitement for the upcoming holidays, FOOTBALL, boots and sweaters, Halloween and just about everything!!! BUT... Seems mother nature may have skipped fall all together this year!!! It has been SO dang cold!!! Theres already tons of snow up in the mountains, and I don't think there has been a clear, sunny day in the past week!!! BLAH!! Its sort of dissapointing!! I REALLY wanted to head up to the mountains and take some pictures with the beautiful leaves! So hopefully (fingers crossed) the leaves will stick around for another week or 2 so we can make it up! :)

This past week Dev and I have been super busy (as usual)!! You'd think we would be used to it by now! LOL!

Last Monday we had Dev's softball game! :) Dev played AMAZING!! He was 4 for 4, and 4 of the 11 runs scored were Dev!! He hit almost to the fence each time up to bat! YAY! Thats MY hubby!! ;)

Tuesday we went to visit my amazing cousin Jacob.. We are so proud of him, and the changes he is making.. He is such a strong willed, happy, amazing person!! We can't wait for him to be home!! He and Dev have SO many plans already, those boys are 2 of a kind!! Haha...

Wednesday we went to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Clark! It was nice to just chat for a bit!! <3 family!!! We then headed home and worked in our main bathroom (our master is dead last on the to-do list)! We refinished the cabinets, and painted!! I am SO excited to see it all completed!!! We just have to varnish the cabinets tonight, and hang up a few things! Pics will come soon!! :)

Thursday we had our weekly bowling league with Dev's dad! We won 1 game, and lost 3.. LOL.. We sort of struggled a bit, but it was FUN as usual!!

Friday I had the day off to take our doggie Tank to get neutered. I took him to the Vet at 8, came home and cleaned the house and put dinner in the crock pot (YUMMY chicken enchilada soup)! Let me just say, its SO much easier to clean the house without Tank barking, and biting the vaccum, broom, mop and stealing my dish cloths off the counter! LOL!! But I did miss him!!! Dev got off work a bit early, and we went to our brother in law Steves Dad's funeral.. It was a really nice service, in a beautiful mortuary. We left the service, and Dev went to meet the guy we purchased our vinyl fence from, and I went to pick up Tank!! As soon as I got in the Vet with my mom, and started talking to the tech's, I heard Tank howling up a storm!! LOL!! They said he is such a sweetheart, and was really good all day! So I figure he must have heard his mama talking and got excited! Haha. We got him home, and he passed out on the couch for a good half hour, then he was back to normal!! I swear our dog is Marley!!! Dev said he bets Tank could get hit by a car, and would get up like nothing ever happened!! He is SO resilient!!!

Saturday we were up and at it early!! Dev was outside working on drilling post holes, and placing/cementing in the posts with my dad at 9 am. They worked until about 6!! PHEW!!! They were both exhausted!!! I cleaned the guest bedroom out to get it ready to be painted!! I cleaned ALL the carpets in the house, and cleaned the basement!! It was a full day for us both!!

Sunday we cleaned up the outside, watched a little football then headed to my parents for Sunday dinner! It was a chill day compared to Saturday!!

I was off work yesterday for Columbus day! So I painted all the floorboards and door frames in the guest bedroom!! Its all ready for paint!! Hopefully we will get that completed this week!! Last night we had Dev's softball game again!! This week my youngest sister Jen subbed with them, and she did GREAT!!! She had a blast too! She gets to sub the rest of this season, and Im sure she will play a full spring season with them all next year! :) While Jen did amazing, Dev had a different kind of game... LOL.. Our niece Shaylee calls him "hot wheels" when he runs.. And for good reason!!! The kid gets crusin SO dang fast!!! The rest of his body can barely keep up with his feet!! And last night that caught up to him! LOL!! On his mad dash to first, he stumbled and ate dirt!! Literally!!! My poor hubby fell face first in the dirt, and did a couple rolls!!! LOL!!! He was a good sport, and brushed it off like a true pro!! ;)
