The past couple weeks have stayed true to form.. We have been extremely busy!!! HOPEFULLY come January things will slow down so we can start working on the nursey... (I can dream right?? lol).
Last Tuesday Devin got a new shiney toy... He has been driving a 2002 Chrysler 300M for YEARS now, and it just wasn't doing the trick in the snow (he needed a safer car for himself, AND for once baby gets here). We have my jeep, and we would primarily drive this in the snow since it has 4 wheel drive.. Well not anymore! We went out and purchased Dev a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab.. Its AWESOME!! I will definitely have to post pictures next week! Dev was adorable when we first got it, I swear you couldn't wipe the smile off his cute face for anything!! He looked like a kid in a candy store ON Christmas!! LOL! He was so happy!! :) Safe to say just about everywhere we go right now we are takin the truck!! :)
Last Friday Me n Dev, my sisters and a friend went and saw Breaking Dawn Pt.1.. I had been waiting SO long for this, and I LOVED every second!! :) It was such a good movie!! Thank goodness for my amazing hubby, he actually doesn't mind Twilight (don't tell him I said anything, he will KILL me.. lol), so I think we are gonna try to make it out to see it again this weekend! :) IF we don't go see The Muppets instead! ;)
Saturday my family thew my cousins adorable girlfriend a baby shower at mine n Devs house! :) This was SO much fun!!! She got tons of adorable stuff!! My mom and I were convinced she is having a girl (yes up till yesterday we STILL didn't know and the girl is due December 4.. lol), so we purchased a ton of baby girl clothes.. Well to our surprise yesterday, we found out she is actually having a little boy!!! Baby boy Zaiden will be here any day now! We can't wait to meet him! I have been POSITIVE for the past few weeks Dev and I are having a boy, and he is 100% positive its a girl.. So now I am questioning my judgement... LOL!
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I have A LOT to be thankful this year.. Its safe to say this has been the BEST year of my life, and next year definitely won't fall short. I am super excited to see what the rest of this year brings, and what 2012 has in store for us! :) I am so thankful for my amazing Husband who I absolutely ADORE, my fantastic Family who I owe SO much to, my AMAZING little baby bump reminding me I have a little part of both me n Dev growing inside me :), mine n Devs cute house, my job (even though days like today I cant stand it.. lol), both mine n Devs vehicles, our cute, snuggly, needy puppy Tank, my wonderful In Laws, and fabulous friends. :) (Safe to say I LOVE my life, and all the people in it.. I am extremely lucky.. :) )

9 weeks! Green Olive!
This past Friday, we hit the 9 week mark in our pregnancy! The baby is the size of a large green olive this week! That sounds HUGE to me, but its really only .9 inches, and .07 ounces.. LOL! During these next 3 weeks, the baby will nearly double in length, and will be about 3 inches! The baby can now move, and stretch its limbs, and has also gained some flexibility in its spine! While baby is able to move SO much, I still won’t be able to feel it for several more weeks.. I CAN NOT wait to feel baby kick and move! That will be so exciting!! Baby’s heartbeat is a WHOPPING 170 beats per minute, and we get to hear this at our appointment next Tuesday! We are so excited to hear baby’s heartbeat, and HOPEFULLY get to see our first ultrasound! YAY!! We are going to see if maybe (hopefully) by some stroke of fate the doctor will be able to tell what we are having, if not, we are going to make an appointment at Fetal Foto for December 23, so we can make the announcement to our families on December 24! J
Symptoms so far:
- Breast tenderness
- Frequent Urination
- Fatigue (I am SO sleepy!! I am asleep either in bed, or on the couch every night by 8:30 latest.. LOL)
- Indegestion ( I got the WORST indegestion after my Thanksgiving lunch at work last week.. no fun!)
- Headaches (Some slight headaches, but they usually pass mid day)
- Nausea (I haven’t thrown up at all (luckily) but I am nauseous most days morning till night.. I was prescribed some awesome nausea pills that work wonders)
- I have a SLIGHT tummy! I am wearing belly bands so I can stick with my prepregnancy jeans a bit longer! ;)
- Some mood swings... More than anything I am a giant bawl baby.. Even more than I was before I was pregnant.. Almost everything makes me cry these days.. LOL!
Devin and I are getting more and more excited to meet our little one and see its adorable face!!! :) Just over 6 1/2 months left to go!! :)

Catching up! :)
It's been a while since I did an update of what's been going on!! And there has been A LOT!!! I guess it's safe to say I've just been feeling a bit lazy.. LOL.. ;)
Dev and I have been married for just shy of 2 months! YAY! :) I LOVE being married to this man! Just when I think he can't get any better, or our life together can't get any better, he goes and shows me that I'm wrong! He is the absolute best person in the entire world, and he is definitely my other half and bestest friend. :) Love him to the moon and back!!!
This past month has been pretty busy!!! We've had A LOT of family events (pumpkin carving, halloween cookies, halloween chili, birthdays, etc), as well as keeping up with Devin's softball league. And it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all just yet!! We always joked and said after the wedding our lives would slow down, and start to seem normal.. Well, no such luck!! LOL.. Besides family stuff, we have continued working on our home! We have put up a vinyl fence!! :) Well, I should say Dev has put up a vinyl fence.. LOL.. I wasn't much help!! Good thing we have awesome dads, and friends to come over and spend their time helping us out! :) We are just about done! We are just waiting for our gate to be completed! Our lil doggie is gonna LOVE being able to run and play outside without being on his leash! :) We should hopefully have that completed within the next week (hopefully before it snows a TON).. I will put up pictures once thats done!! :)
We have our main bathroom upstairs 100% finished as well! I just haven't remembered to take pictures of this.. LOL.. This will come next week as well! :) We are now starting to work on what will be our "guest/spare" bedroom. I can't wait to have this done so we can get what will be the nursery emptied out, carpets cleaned, and painted! :)
That brings me to our next news... YES! We are pregnant! :) And we are elated!! I am 7 weeks today, and we are due June 22, 2012! We can't wait to see and meet our lil peanut! :) I always hoped I would be one of those girls that had a super easy pregnancy.. And no such luck.. :( Around the 5 week mark (coinsidentally, when we found out I'm pregnant), I became really nauseous.. It was pretty miserable!!! I had to either eat, or lay down to keep from throwing up.. Add that to my exhaustion I was already experiencing (I swear I was beat since day 1)! LOL.. I am so lucky I have such an amazing, understanding husband.. I am asleep EVERY night by 8:30.. LOL.. And I gotta get naps in every chance I get! Haha.. He is the best! He is taking such good care of me.. I am truly LUCKY! We found out we are pregnant on October 16. We had previously taken 3 tests since I just FELT pregnant, and Dev was convinced I was.. They all came back negative, so I just kind of convinced myself I wasn't.. The morning of the 16th, I woke up and took a test.. I went and jumped back in bed. I was too nervous to go check the test for myself, so Dev went in and looked.. He stood in the bathroom for a couple minutes, then told me it was a no.. I just shrugged it off, and said okay! I had already convinced myself it was a no anyway, so no harm there! We got up and outta bed to get ready to grocery shop.. Dev went downstairs, and I headed in to the bathroom.. I picked up the test, and there was a REALLY light pink second line (which meant YES).. I ran downstairs and shoved the test in Devs face.. LOL.. Which he LOVED, since I had just peed on it.. Hahahaha.. He was convinced I was pregnant (since he had known all along ;) ).. I wasn't too sure. So we grabbed another test at the grocery store. I came home and took the test, and it was instantly positive! :) We had our first doctor appointment this past Tuesday, and it was WONDERFUL to have it all confirmed, and to hear we are right on track, and everything looks great! We have our next appointment on November 29, and we will get to hear the heart beat, and do our first ultrasound! YAY!!
So as of now, all our focus is changing to be about BABY! We are extremely excited!! I hope June 22 gets here quick!!! :)

This month has birthdays, birthday parties, a baby shower, jeans party, BREAKING DAWN (woo hoo!!), doctor appointments, Thanksgiving, and SHOPPING.. LOL.. We can't wait for everything else this year!! :)
